RE: Palenque

I think that alvin alley dance and palenque music are very similar and have many things in common, they both try to express devotion to something it could be to god, or something else, the point is that in this dance they use the body expression as a form of "Talking" with god.
Some people use this forms of dancing as a way to express what they are feeling and we can find in alvin's company they are very expressive when they are dancing, exactly the same that palenque dancers.

R/ Maybe the problems could come with the families of the person you are dating, because not everybody is open to accept someone different and that goes countering their beliefs, so, it could be difficult when you try to introduce someone from another culture to your family and it would take some time for them to accept her/him.

1. What do we learn about Tuareg culture from this video?
From a Subjetive Point of view, i think that we realize that tuareg culture its not as different as we think from us they do the same things that we do with some things differently, and they have a big spirituality and strage way of seeing life

      2. Keeping in mind what you learned from this interview, how does seeing the visuals within the video and knowing the meaning of the lyrics give us a deeper understanding of Tuareg culture?` 
Lyrics and the video just describe how they take life, the lyrics of a song always have a story to tell, and theres always a meaning inside it.

1) Why was barranquilla choosen as cultural capital?
Barranquilla was chosen because our big context of culture, and our capacity to create a very good environment with all our visitors and tourists, and also it has many important and ancient structures and places that take place on most important places of colombia

2)IT will take economical beneficts to the city?
Barranquilla will take beneficts like a major culture projection and taking part of negociations and other reunions internationally

Music is a Lifestyle, commonly people think that a musician cant get a good work, but that is a totall lie, if you work hard for your dreams, and make things with passion you can get whatever you want
